To Whom It May Concern:
We recently sold our home in Northborough. We greatly appreciate the effort that Karen Scopetski made on our behalf. We interviewed six different realtors and were sold on her down to earth professionalism and honesty. We would strongly recommend Karen to anyone interested in selling their house
We very much appreciated Karen’s ability to listen and calmly offer us guidance on how to achieve our goals. On occasion she suggested that we modify those goals but always in a manner that assured us that her suggestions were in our own best interests. Any decisions that were made during the process were the result of calm, rational discussion and not irrational pressure. She was able to refer us to competent trades people to gradually improve the property as required. We were very pleased with the outcomes and with the pricing.
Karen also walked us through the offer, purchase and sale, and closing process. She immediately responded to any and all questions we asked. Nor did she lose sight of our interests after the purchase and sale was signed. She scheduled the various inspections required for the deal to close and was there for us when we were not.
We were thoroughly delighted to the calm assurance that Karen exuded throughout the process. We could not have had better council at any stage of the process. We are very happy with the outcome of the sale. We could not have done better in the current real estate market and we would not have arrived at that outcome with any of the realtors we interviewed. She was a pleasure to work with.
Karen is an asset that Coldwell Banker can ill afford to lose!

To whom it may concern
In selling a house, the question is often asked, did the presentation on the internet or the real estate agent sell the house. While it is doubtless true that the internet plays a major role in conveying first impressions of houses for sale, we found it comes down to the expertise and experience of a good real estate agent to clinch a deal.
Karen Scopetski acted as seller’s agent for us and we are very happy with the ways she handled every aspect of the marketing and selling process beginning with choosing the best pictures to put the house on the internet to the negotiations with interested parties and the eventual buyers to the final walk through and the closing. Throughout we had the feeling of being in competent and honest hands. Karen proved to be a friendly and efficient real estate agent who was always available when called upon. It has been a pleasure to work with her.
When all of a sudden all sorts of small tasks had to be taken care of Karen was a great help thanks to a support system she managed to activate with admirable speed.
We would like to recommend her warmly and without any reservation.

Karen Scopetski was the listing agent for our home located in Boylston, Massachusetts. Our home was listed with Karen in May 2011, an offer was received in mid August, and our home closed in late October. Our experience in working with Karen throughout the entire process was highly satisfactory and we enthusiastically recommend her professional service to anyone looking to sell their home. If we are ever to buy another home in Central Massachusetts, she will be the agent we call for help.
There are several things about Karen that most impressed us during the time she worked on our behalf:
- Constant attention - Karen always promptly returned our phone calls or email messages, and she often checked-in with a phone call on a weekly basis to share market updates. She proactively scheduled open houses when she observed periods of quieter activity from prospective buyers. We relocated out of state in mid August and there were numerous details that needed tending to in preparation for our closing. Karen willingly took care of those details for us, using her very rich network of professional contacts. For example, the buyer’s home inspection noted a few small jobs that needed attention and Karen arranged for contractors to get the work done. For us, she was invaluable in following what could have been overwhelming details as our home progressed toward the sale.
- Straight-forward, knowledgeable and respected advice – Our home in Boylston was the second home we have sold, and our first home sold over fifteen years ago. Needless to say, there is much to learn and be aware of during a home sale. Karen truly listened to our concerns, acted with our best interests in mind, and provided sound and professional advice throughout the entire process. We observed that she is highly respected and well known by real estate agents servicing the Westborough, Northborough, Shrewsbury areas. When asked by others with whom we listed our home, there was instant name recognition and admiration for Karen. She has developed a very positive practice for herself with a lot of respect from fellow real estate colleagues, something that can only be developed through trust, strong working relationships and results within the industry.
Without hesitation, we highly recommend Karen and her real estate services.

To Whom It May Concern:
An inherently stressful experience, buying a house demands an agent who makes the process run as smoothly as possible. Karen Scopetski is exactly such an agent. She listened to our preferences and understood our needs. Her down-to-earth style immediately made us feel at ease with the process. Karen was prompt, reliable, and responsive. She was extremely patient with our indecisiveness and never made us feel rushed. We never had difficulty reaching her no matter what time of day or day of week we called. Her knowledge of the area was expert, and her recommendations for local services have proven invaluable. She kindly distracted and entertained our small children so that we could devote more attention to the walk-through. When one offer we had made needed to be withdrawn due to a poor inspection, Karen strongly advocated for us and made certain our interests were foremost. Most of all, Karen was simply a joy to work with. Although we hope not to have to move for many years to come, we do miss spending our weekends with her. Certainly we do not hesitate in recommending Karen Scopetski wholeheartedly.

To Whom It May Concern:
When my wife and I had the idea of moving we started the process early in 2006. By March we felt ready to get serious and immediately started to look for a Realtor. Living in Northborough you have the luxury of being able to listen to words of advice from neighbors and friends. Through word of mouth we decided to work with Karen Scopetski of Coldwell Banker. After speaking with her we found her to be a very friendly and engaging person. We immediately felt comfortable working with her. Her experience, knowledge and passion was what we needed to navigate the local real estate market. We were so impressed with her attention to detail and willingness to listen. She expertly guided us through the sale of our home and soon thereafter, purchase of our new home. Having just recently completed this process, we can honestly say, we could never have done this without Karen. She personifies excellence and would without hesitation recommend her to anyone in need of a Real Estate Professional.

We had the pleasure of working with Karen Scopetski on the sale of our existing home and purchase of a new home. We found Karen to be knowledgeable, forthright, and tireless in her efforts to sell our home; and found her to be equally determined to find us a new home in our desired location and price range.
As a result of her many years as a resident of Northborough and as a broker in town, Karen demonstrated a unique understanding of market dynamics in the area. Her assessment of the sales value of our home, intelligent pricing strategy, and marketing generated a steady stream of interested buyers. Her advice on pricing movement in response to the changing real estate market and to area sales activity proved invaluable in ensuring that we were priced competitively and, ultimately, in finding a qualified buyer.
In our search for a new home, Karen took the time to understand our desires and budget constraints and to ensure that the properties she showed us provided value against these criteria. Karen didn’t try to “sell us up” to properties above our price range, nor did she discourage us from properties which were lower priced. With Karen’s help we bought a quality home, at a good value.
Karen was also an invaluable resource for service references. For us, buying and selling real estate is an infrequent activity and we would not have known where to start to find home inspection, attorney, and mortgage services. Karen was able to connect us with local options and we would recommend any of these service providers to other home buyers or sellers.
To us, Karen’s success is fueled by her genuine enthusiasm for working with people- both buyers and sellers. Buying or selling a home can be an overwhelming and intimidating experience- and we found Karen’s direct, commonsense style to be refreshing and steadying. We would highly recommend Karen to anyone thinking of buying or selling in Northborough or the surrounding area.
